Cyberpunk is coming back and it will give fans a lot to be excited about in the next few months. The new project is a show on Netflix called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners this show is a spin-off of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 video game. it was announced at Netflix Geeked Week that this show will be released in September 2022. This show has been long-awaited since it was announced in 2022.
Cyberpunk 2077 came out in 2020 it is an Open-world RPG game. The game’s storyline follows a character named V, who becomes a mercenary to survive in Night City. V was supposed to do one last job to live comfortably. During the job, everything goes wrong and V is stuck with a new solution that turns out to be a life or death situation. The player gets to experience V’s mercenary life and help make choices that will affect the game’s ending.
When Cyberpunk 2077 came out it was met with a lot of hype but was soon pulled from the shelves because of glitches and bugs in the game. In the past few years since the game has come out in 2020 CD Projekt Red has continuously fixed the glitches.
According to Cyberpunk: edgerunners official Twitter the show will have 10 episodes of the anime. According to whats on Netflix, the show is written by Yoshiki Usa and Masahiko Ôtsuka.
