As CD Projekt Red struggles to fix the ongoing glitches and crashes with Cyberpunk 2077, Sony Interactive Entertainment is offering full refunds for the game. This news comes after CD Projekt Red CEOs said the cost of their reputation is more important than the cost it will take to fix the game, especially in the last-gen consoles. The developers failed to show trailers that wasn’t on PC or next-generation consoles. Sony Interactive Entertainment will already removed the game from the PlayStation store.

CD Projekt Red had offered to do their own refunds of the game for last-gen consoles in a tweet but preferred that players wait for the promised updates in the next few months. There was a hotfix sent out earlier this week with two major updates due in January and February. However, Sony is taking the situation into their own hands until further notice. The official statement from Sony gave no date when the Cyberpunk 2077 will be back up in the store.

PlayStation users must submit the request on the PlayStation website. There has been no similar news from the Microsoft store yet. The game could be off the PlayStation store for a few months if Cyberpunk’s major updates don’t launch until February. CD Projekt Red responded early December 18 stating they are working as hard as possible to get the game back in the PlayStation store and that this temporary removal would not affect physical copies.
