Warhammer Survivors Is Set to Release November 10th

As fictional worlds grow larger and the ideas within them are brought to more people, it becomes easier to branch the series out into different video game genres. The Warhammer series is no stranger to growing beyond its original premise, now spanning to both tabletop and video games along with other media altogether. Now, the latest titles in the series, Warhammer Survivors, has received a release date alongside a new trailer.

Warhammer Survivors is a bullet heaven title, allowing players to experiment with various ways to unleash as much devastation as possible to nearby foes while avoiding approaching enemies. This formula fits right at home in the Warhammer series, which is well-known for the constant carnage that identifies it. At the start of the trailer, players are prompted to choose a faction to fight for, laid out by the Steam page as a choice between being a legend of the Imperium or champion of Order. This choice, among others, will influence the path the player takes along with what tools will be available to them.

The game promises over 40 champions and over 75 weapons, including attacks that rotate around the player, lock onto and fire at nearby enemies, and descend and wipe clean the entire screen. In addition to the base arsenal, players are also encouraged to mix and combine weapons into new forms to become as dangerous as possible. Finally, the game will feature meta progression that carries over into new runs, that themselves can be randomly modified for a unique experience each playthrough. The trailer ends with a confrontation with a massive enemy with an attack covering half the screen.

Given the violent history of the Warhammer series, a game about destroying as many enemies as possible as efficiently as possible does not come as a shock for many fans. Warhammer Survivors by Auroch Digital will release on November 10th, 2026.
