Fans of job simulator games looking for a change of pace should look into Not Alive Enough. It is a zombie job simulator game, where players must inspect each refugee that tries to pass the checkpoint and find those that are already infected.
The symptoms of the virus can range from obvious warning signs to subtle ones that players can miss. Some survivors make not show any signs of infection and not everyone will wait patiently to be examined. Players may encounter refugees that turn during their inspection, forcing the players to act in the moment.
It is a game where who the players allow to cross can have consequences on the checkpoint and outside world. If they let the wrong person inside, they risk spreading the outbreak. If they are too hasty in their decision making, they risk an innocent life paying the price for it.
There are a variety of weapons at the players disposal. Players can customize their loadout to fit their playstyle and help with close quarters combat. Weapons include pistols, shotguns, rifles, and heavier weapons that are perfect for preventing the checkpoint from being overrun.
An official announcement trailer was posted earlier this morning, highlighting the type of first-person gameplay that players can expect. Refugees will try and hide their symptoms, including wearing wigs. Players will be able to search for bite marks using X-Ray vision on their gear.
Each day will become progressively harder. Players will encounter new refugees during each shift and more infected. They will have to make tougher decision all while being the last line of defence between those infected and the outside world. Not Alive Enough is set to come out in December 2026, though no specific date has been revealed. Players interested in this zombie job simulator can wishlist the game via Steam starting today to stay updated on its progress closer to launch.
