The Division 2 Title Update 6 Features Episode 2, A New Specialization & More

Today, Ubisoft has announced that Title Update 6 for The Division 2 will be releasing next week on October 15. Title Update 6 features Episode 2 – “Pentagon: The Last Castle” where Agents have to rush to discover the secrets inside the Pentagon before it falls into the hands of The Black Tusk. Episode 2 will be available on October 15 for Year 1 pass holders and will be available to everyone on October 22. The update also brings in a new “Technician” specialization, a new PvP mode, a new map, and new fixes and improvements.

Pentagon: The Last Castle is broken up into two new main missions. in the beginning, players will investigate a transmission from another Agent scouting the Pentagon for the perfusion bioreactor. Securing the bioreactor would allow Agents to replicate the antiviral samples recovered at Tidal Basin. The first mission has Agents discovering the location of the perfusion bioreactor inside the Pentagon’s underground facility where the Black Tusk is trying to extract. Mission two has players making their way through the Pentagon and into the DARPA Labs as the Black Tusk is transporting the perfusion bioreactor through a Cold War tunnel network.

The Technician Specialization includes the P-017 Launcher as a signature weapon, the Maxim 9 as a sidearm, Artificer Hive is the Skill Variant and an EMP Grenade as a grenade mod. The Launcher is a multi-missile launcher that allows Agents to lock-on and hit up to six enemies. When fired, the missiles seek out their targets.

Fixes and improvements for Title Update 6 include targeted loot, crafting changes, inventory management 2.0, increased stash space, rebalance of talents and weapons and more. Title Update 6 is also getting a new Conflict PvP mode and a new map called the Wharf. The new map takes players to an abandoned fishing harbor and offers tactical gameplay opportunities through flanking routes and raised positions. Team Elimination pits two teams of four into a best-of seven-round battle in D.C. Rounds end when an entire team has been eliminated or the time has expired.

In lieu of Title Update 6, Ubisoft will be giving players who haven’t played a chance with a free weekend happening later this month from October 17-21. The game will also be on sale during this time and progress made during the free weekend can be carried over to the full game if purchased. The Division 2 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
