Street Fighter 6 Artwork That Contains 22 Fighters Has Leaked

Well, it didn’t take long for something to leak from one of the newly shown titles. For this particular story, it pertains to Street Fighter 6, which was prominently featured during yesterday’s State of Play. Apparently, an ark work that contains all of the upcoming fighters in the title has been leaked, giving us detailed look at all potential upcoming 22 fighters. The origin of the post is a bit of a mystery, but the earliest finding came from a post on Resetera, where every character is shown in full.

As you can see in some of the images above, the fighters’ artistic detail is quite stunning, similar to the previous art renders of Street Fighter titles. Some obvious faces that we can see here include Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Cammy, and Zangief. However, some of the more noteworthy stalwarts seemed to have been given a huge makeover. This includes Akuma, who now has super long hair and a massive beard, and Dee Jay, who now sports a spiky afro and some sort of glass device by his face.

We also see seven new faces on the roster, all of which sport their own distinctive style. This includes Marisa, Kimberely, JP, and A.K.I. Perhaps the most rounded aspect for each fighter is that they all look like they’ve been fighting in a back-alley way, which seems to be the motif that Street Fighter 6 is pushing here. The trailer that was shown during the State of Play seemed to emphasize some open-world aspects, all of which took place on the actual streets of a city. Only time will tell when we find out more about these new characters, but one thing is for sure, the art style is just as vibrant as ever. Street Fighter 6 will release sometime in 2023.
