Sony at E3 kicks off strong with The Last Of Us Part 2 theme song, composed by Gustavo Santaolalla. His performance was not only haunting and greatly captivating, but it no doubt hyped up PS4 fans for the upcoming game. The conference prepares fans for the event by placing everyone in a room decorated just like The Last Of Us Part 2 scene in the new trailer. During the trailer, we are brought into a romantic scene between Ellie and her presumed girlfriend. They share a love filled kiss in the middle of the dancefloor; appearing like a happily ever after. But the scene is quickly cut to Ellie stalking a camp ground, where she is combating enemies in ones or groups of twos during an intense gameplay. She brutally cuts down numerous bodies with a warrior like tenacity, and weilds her weapons as if she has a vengeance to fulfill.
After the intermission, we are transported to feudal Japan, where we meet a lone samuri named Jin. He has just discovered the invasion and ruthless slaughter of his village. Jin thus bravely decides seek out those responsible for the death of his village. As Jin carefully investigates the remains of his home, skillfully tracking down the invaders, he comes across a few invaders who had just finished killing off civilians of the village. Jin tasks himself the responsibility of fighting all three intruders, to which he greatly succeeds. However, when one enemy comes out the shadows to slay Jin, Masako shots him down with a perfectly precise arrow. Jin and Masako thus team up, forming a deadly duo to prepare to fight off the invaders by themselves. The Ghost of Tsushima involves quick and steady combat that allows for swift kills, and a cinematic approach to each one. The currently has no release date.
Another big reveal is that Capcom has unveiled the release date for Resident Evil 2, which is to be January 25, 2019. This surprise had fans shocked and ecstatic over the reveal. But until its release, fans can preorder Resident Evil 2. The conference also goes to reveal the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer, starring everyone’s favorite Disney and Final Fantasy characters. Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to release January 29, 2019.
Lastly, towards the end of the conference, we get to see the trailer for Death Stranding and Spider-man. Starring as the main character of Death Stranding, Norman Reedus is seen making his way through the open world game as a deceased entity. As for Spider-man, he is simply going about his life as the friendly neighborhood hero, but is quickly caught in an exciting combat with Electro and his fellow fiends. Spiderman is set to release September 7th this year, but Death Stranding has yet to reveal a release date. To catch the entire conference for yourself, please check the video below:
