Rumbleverse Announces Duos and Playground Mode for the Launch

Iron Galaxy has now revealed more information about Rumbleverse game modes. Rumbleverse is an upcoming free-to-play battle royale game that is expected to be released sometime in August 2022. It has now been announced that the game will contain both a duos mode and playgrounds available for players at the launch.

Similar to most battle royale games with duo modes, the Rumbleverse duos will require consistent communication and teamwork to win. Players will begin the game with reduced health and have just eight slots for their stats. Once a player’s teammate is eliminated, the one who is still alive will receive more health and an additional slot to help them survive.

Another benefit of the duos game mode is that a player who loses their health will not be eliminated right away. Upon losing health, players will be knocked down and their teammate will then have 30 seconds to come over and revive them. After the initial knockdown and revival, every knockdown after will allow less time for the other teammate to revive them.

In addition to the duos mode, playground mode will be a great opportunity for players to learn about the game and map. Playground mode is available to play solo or with a friend and will include training modules and robots that can help players improve their skills. Players will also be able to view the map and all of the Equip Up zones that may be useful when they are competing against other players. If a player gets eliminated while in playground mode, all they will have to do is press the option button to respawn back on the map.

Rumbleverse is set to release on August 11 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Season One of the game will begin on August 18 and will feature over 100 different rewards that can be earned.
