Legendary Lord of the Deep Forest Arbois Now Available in Wizardry Variants Daphne

Wizardry Variants Daphne is an expansive Wizardry RPG, developed by developed and published by Drecom Co., Ltd, that features dungeon exploration, turn-based combat, and a blend of character classes and races to fight alongside. Players start the game by walking down a dungeon corridor and immediately getting slaughtered by an overpowered monster. Time rewinds and the character’s eyes open wide. From here the real adventure begins as a mysterious cloaked figure grants them the ability to self-resurrect themselves and de-age others.

Players explore a dark fantasy world threatened by a deadly curse called the Abyss, which opens once every 100 years and consumes the continent. The player builds up a team of heroes by resurrecting and de-aging corpses they encounter during their journeys. This ability also allows them to restore useful ancient equipment. The game features turn-based combat where strategic use of skills, spells, and items is crucial for survival. ​

Drecom announced the arrival of a new character in Wizardry Variants Daphne via a post on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. The post reveals a new legendary adventurer called Lord of the Deep Forest Arboris. The hero will be available in the game from April third to April thirty, although this is subject to change. A video is included in the post that depicts the featured adventurer as well as his limited addition Meteor Bow.

Arbois is an esteemed elf and Lord of the Deep Forest who leads a legion of thieves into battle. Astral Break, his signature move, deals Earth-type physical damage that ignores enemy defense, while also boosting the action speed of both Arbois and his adjacent allies for four turns.
