Iron Marines, the new real time strategy game from the creators of the Kingdom Rush series Ironhide Games, has recently been given its release date along with a new trailer. Through an email to fans the developer started off joking around stating that the project had been cancelled, but then went on to announce that the game will be coming right before this fall. After a beta along with few Intel Reports revealing new heroes and other features in the game, the new title will be arriving on iOS and Android devices on September 14. The report added that there will be a “special mystery hero” within the first 48 hours, and also contained a link to a brand new trailer for the game which shows off some colorful gameplay.
The game will put players in an outer space Sci-Fi setting where they will have to face against the likes of countless aliens. In a previous intel report Ironhide Games stated that players will be battling against 20 different species of enemies. So it seems fair that the players will also have a wide array of weapons at their dispense to battle the large variety of enemies, and as many as 9 different units that they will be able to take command of. There will also be a total of 24 missions between the campaign and special operations for players to experience that the developer says will be challenging yet enjoyable. Fans will not have long to wait to enjoy the “countless enemies, adrenaline, tactics and silly humor,” that this Iron Marines promises to offer.
