Final Fantasy has a beautiful relationship with music, from Final Fantasy X-2′s Jpop music videos to Theaterythm‘s musical gameplay, Square-enix has shown us over and over again that they aren’t afraid to bring their music to popular culture and visa versa. Now Square is teaming up with pop superstar Ariana Grande to create a special summer event centered around music, and putting a brand new Ariana Grande inspired character into the game. Of course this special summer event comes with more than just a fancy new Ariana character to play with, such as a new epic boss named ‘The Bard’, new special rewards, and of course exclusive ‘Chic Ariana’ gear all ready for the taking.
In order to unlock the ‘Chic Ariana’ character, players must complete the first stage of the Musical Showdown. Fans will be able to take on The Bard and play for these special rewards during the event which will go from August 18th through September 1st.
This news comes hand in hand with an announcement for the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Fan Fiesta event in New York this October. a one year anniversary celebration that will include;
