Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Demo, Bravely Default II, & More Revealed In Final Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase Of 2020

Earlier today, Nintendo shared the final Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase of 2020. These presentations focus on games coming from some of Nintendo’s publishing partners. Some of the highlights from this showcase include a demo for the upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a new look at Bravely Default II, a new game called Part Time UFO, and more. “Even though this is the final Nintendo Direct Mini: Partnership Showcase of the year, the Nintendo Switch games from our development and publishing partners are still coming on strong,” Steve Singer, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations said. “Through these video presentations, we are able to show the breadth of creative and diverse experiences that can be found on Nintendo Switch.”

In Bravely Default II, four heroes brought together by fate will embark on a great voyage visiting stunning locations, meeting intriguing characters and battling dastardly villains. The heroes have the ability to change jobs and players can turn the tide of battle in their favor by using the right combination of jobs. The developers were able to use some of the feedback they collected when they released a demo in March.

STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town is the newest entry in the original farm simulation series. Players will be able to cultivate a farm from the ground up by chopping down trees, discovering flora and fauna, and raising animals. You can experience all this and more! STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town launches on Nintendo Switch on March 23, 2021.

Surviving the Aftermath tasks players with building the ultimate disaster-proof colony in a post-apocalyptic future. As you build, players can protect their colonists and restore civilization to a devastated world. The game will launch in Spring 2021.

Immortals Fenyx Rising was announced at the last Ubisoft Forward and is coming to the Nintendo Switch when it launches on December 3, 2020. Players will assume the role of Fenyx on a quest to save the Greek world from Typhon, the deadliest Titan in Greek mythology. You’ll be able to master legendary powers as you fight mythological beasts. You can pre-order the game starting today.

Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia will have players attempt to build the best team possible. You can even take the team you built and battle against other players online. Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 3, 2020.

Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite game that was released earlier this year in June. Players have to negotiate, fight, steal, or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision matters. Griftlands: Nintendo Switch Edition launches in Summer 2021.

Tropico 6 has players build and rule an island nation on large archipelagos, take care of subjects’ needs, and send agents to steal world monuments. In other words, the fate of the island is in your hands. The game releases on Nintendo Switch on November 6, 2020.

Hitman 3: Cloud Version will be the first game in the series that will be available to play on Nintendo Switch. The game is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. Whether you are new to the franchise or not, players will enjoy a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations.

Control Ultimate Edition: Cloud Version, winner of more than 80 awards is available now for Nintendo Switch. The game is a visually stunning third-person action-adventure that blends open-ended environments with the signature world-building and storytelling of developer Remedy Entertainment. Both Control and Hitman 3 for Nintendo Switch uses cloud streaming technology so a Nintendo account and a persistent high-speed internet connection is required to play.

Part Time UFO is available now and comes from the developers of the Kirby series. Players take on the role of an adorable (and helpful) UFO and help people perform all sorts of part-time jobs from dishing up sweets, to fishing, and building a castle. You can also play with a friend. Players can clear stages by carrying the required object or earn more rewards by completing three specific challenges per stage.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity releases on November 20, 2020. Today, Nintendo revealed that a free demo is available now. The game is set in Hyrule 100 years before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The new trailer revealed that the Divine Beasts will be playable in the game. The demo includes all of Chapter 1 and save data can be carried over to the full game when it releases in November.
