Devolver Delayed: The Talos Principle, Gunbrella, & More Still Coming In 2023, The Plucky Squire, Skate Story, Anger Foot & More Delayed To 2024

Last week, Devolver Digital announced Devolver Delayed, a showcase that could only be done by them. Stylized as a Nintendo Direct, the event focuses on the upcoming Devolver Digital titles that unfortunately are getting delayed into next year. The publisher also revealed several titles that are still coming out in 2023.

The Talos Principle II, Gunbrella, KarmaZoo, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, and Wizard with a Gun are still coming out in 2023. The Plucky Squire, Pepper Grinder, Stick it to the Stickman, Anger Foot, and Skate Story are delayed into 2024.

The Talos Principle IIthe sequel to 2014’s The Talos Principle, will greatly expand “the first game’s philosophical themes and stunning environments with increasingly mind-bending challenges. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Gunbrella is a side-scrolling Metroidvania where players use a bulletproof umbrella that doubles as a gun. The game will launch sometime this year for PC and Nintendo Switch.

KarmaZoo is a platformer that has a heavy emphasis on co-op play. Up to 10 players take control of pixelated animal avatars with the goal of tackling dynamic levels. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.

In The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhoodplayers take on the role of Fortuna, a witch who reconnects with her peers after a long exile as she shapes the fate of the Witch society. The game releases next week on August 16 for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Wizard with a Gun is an upcoming co-op survival game where players can embark on a journey solo or with friends. As you explore the unknown, you can craft new firearms and wield magic. The game is coming sometime this year for PC and Nintendo Switch.

The Plucky Squire is a top-down adventure game that focuses on Jot and his storybook character friends as they discover the 3D world. The game will launch next year for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.

Pepper Grinder is a colorful 2D platformer that fuses traditional platforming with a drilling mechanic. This allows for more freedom and ways to explore and reach the end of a level. The game comes out next year for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Stick it to the Stickman is a roguelike brawler where you fight against your coworkers on a quest to reach it to the top of the company and become the CEO. The game launches next year for PC.

Anger Foot is a fast-action FPS where the main character’s deadliest weapon is his foot. Crash through the caffeine-fuelled fever dream of Shit City, putting the boot to a menacing menagerie of merciless gangsters. Unleash the world’s deadliest feet on a colorful cast of anthropomorphic enemies. Devolver Digital also announced Broforce Forever and McPixel 3 DLC which are set to come out sometime this year too.
