Dead Space Remake Officially Launches Next January

EA and EA Motive Studios have at last unveiled what everyone was waiting for. Announced through a press release as well as during their livestream, The Dead Space Remake will officially launch next year on January 27, 2023, and will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC. The title was previously slated for an early 2023 release but no one knew just how early this would end up being. Turns out, we’ll be battling our way through necromorphs almost first think into 2023.

As you can see above, the actual livestream was about the concept and design art, both of which was shown at an extensive detail. They also went into the visual effects that transfers from the designs and makes its way into the final product. This all goes hand in hand with the previous livestreams, such as the one where they went over the importance of the new sounds of the weapons. That one had a very big impact as the fan feedback lead to the team changing the sound effects of two of the biggest weapons in the game, the Plasma Cutter and thee Pulse Rifle.

EA Motive Studios also mentioned that we should look forward to a much bigger look at the game by October just ahead of Halloween. With such a long time difference between now and then, it’s more than likely that we won’t see the Dead Space Remake during any of the summer game showcases. This was further emphasized earlier when EA announced that their annual Spring/Summer showcase, EA Play Live, was canceled this year. The Dead Space Remake was initially revealed during last year’s event, and has since gone onto show great progress since then.

The Dead Space Remake will officially launch early next year on January 27, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC.
