Cyberpunk 2077 Live Stream set for August 30 will Showcase 15 Minutes of Gameplay Footage

CD Projekt Red has announced live stream for August 30 that will show off 15 minutes of gameplay footage from the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.  The gameplay footage will be an edited down version of what the studio is currently showing off to people at Gamescom. Along with the footage, the stream will consist of developer interviews to provide more information on the game.

Expect a lot of insight into the thought process behind creative decisions, information about Pacifica—one of the districts of Night City—and TONS of stuff on playstyles you’ll be able to adopt when you launch Cyberpunk 2077 next year.

Along with the announcement of the stream, CD Projekt Red announced some unfortunate news regarding their presence at PAX West next week. Originally, the studio was set to hold a panel with developers where they would showcase gameplay to attendees. However, due to both logistical and creative reasons, the studio will not attend PAX West in person, and, instead, host another stream of the game from their offices in Warsaw. The studio would also apologize to fans for missing the event, but assured that the cosplay contest would still be happening at PAX West.

Plenty has already been revealed about the highly anticipated game such as having a hardcore mode that features no UI as well as the game starring actor Keanu Reeves. Earlier this month, it was announced that there will be spinoff card game called Cyberpunk 2077 Afterlife. The game will also come in at a whopping 80 GB file size when it releases.

For those interested in watching the stream, CD Projekt Red will be hosting it on both their official Twitch and Mixer channels, and it will start at 2 pm EDT/11 am PDT. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently set to release on April 16, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and, currently, on an unknown release date for Google Stadia.
