The latest in the long-running survival horror series, Resident Evil Village was released last month and is another hit for the franchise and Capcom. It was the most downloaded game on PS5 for the month of May on the PlayStation Store in both the US and Europe. Shortly after it was released, the game shipped over 4 million units worldwide, including both physical and digital versions. Resident Evil Village has become the fastest-selling game in the history of the franchise, outselling the past three titles, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3.

Resident Evil Village is not the only game doing very well for Capcom. The latest from the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Rise has also made headlines in terms of sales figures. Recently, Capcom revealed that Monster Hunter Rise has shipped more than 7 million units worldwide, which makes it the company’s 7th highest selling game in the company’s history. In the latest Monster Hunter digital event, the release date for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was revealed. It will launch next month on July 9.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a collection of the two games that will be appearing outside of Japan for the first time: The Great Ace Attorney Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve. The games will have new gameplay mechanics and DLC content that was only released in Japan. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles launches in North America on July 27, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
