Capcom Announces 2023 Release of Their New Game Exoprimal

During the State of Play broadcast for Playstation, Capcom revealed a new game called Exoprimal. The game is team based and takes place in the future where the world is being attacked by dinosaurs. The new game will be released on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam sometime in 2023.

The company’s PR team explained the main idea of the game below.

“It’s 2040 and the planet is in crisis. Dinosaurs are appearing from thin air and laying waste to cities across the globe. Threatened by history’s deadliest creatures, the world turns to the powerful Aibius Corporation and its revolutionary technology for help. The company’s next-generation AI, Leviathan, can forecast where dinosaur outbreaks will occur and deploy Exofighters to the area. Armed with state-of-the-art mechanized combat armor known as Exosuits, these warriors represent humanity’s last hope.”

The main game mode will be Dino Survival, where teams of 5 take down dinosaurs and also attempt to complete missions. These missions will be a race to complete between two teams.

During the missions, the Exofighters will always be outnumbered by the dinosaurs attacking them. This means that the fighters will have to work together to complete their missions and defeat the dinosaurs. In order to do that, each team must be well rounded and choose the best class for each player.

Assault classes such as Deadeye and Zephyr can be used to take down large groups of enemies who stand in the team’s way. On the other hand, classes such as the Witchdoctor and Roadblock take a more defensive strategy to help the team itself. One of the biggest differences in Exoprimal compared to other games is that the classes can be changed at any time for the players to get out of situations they may encounter.

As Exoprimal nears the release in 2023, Capcom will likely release more news and information on their Twitter and Facebook.
