It was announced on December 28th on the PlayStation blog that the game Stellar Blade release date has been pushed up to 2024. Stellar Blade was originally set for this year but suffered a delay and was moved to 2024. It’s unclear what has caused the delay in the game’s release and the developer and publisher have made no mention of why it was being delayed.
The game Stellar Blade is being developed by SHIFT UP Corporation and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Stellar Blade is a single-player Action role-playing game that is set “in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world”. In Stellar Blade players will be able to take part in “blisteringly combat” as they cut “a path through the remnants of Earth”. Players will also be able to “unlock new moves” as they advance in the game.
In the game, the players will be playing the Heroine character named Eve “as she takes on the Naytibas a force” that is destroying Earth “while surviving humans escape to an outer space colony”. According to the PlayStation Blog :
Stellar Blade combines sharp action with stunning visuals and a mature narrative to create something all new. Players will have to master a balanced offense and defense to survive against hordes of out-of-this-world enemies.
According to the PlayStation Blog Stellar Blade will be released for the PS5. The PlayStation blog also talked about other games that will be coming out next year as well. The other games mentioned in the blog include Tekken 8, Helldivers II, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, FoamStars, Rise Of Ronin, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape. All of these games are coming to PlayStation in 2024 at some point or another. As for Stellar Blade, there is no specific release date for the game just that it’s arriving sometime in 2024. There was also no mention of when players will be able to preorder the game
