Street Fighter 6 is coming in 2023. The new trailer features a look at some of the characters you can choose from including Luke, Jamie, Ryu, and Chun-Li, gameplay footage featuring new game mechanics, and new game modes.

Drive Impact is a powerful strike that can absorb an opponent’s incoming attack. Drive Parry automatically repels an opponent’s attack and replenishes the Drive Gauge when performed successfully. Overdrive Arts are the same attacks as the EX Special Moves in past games. With Drive Rush, players can perform a quick rush forward from a Drive Parry or a cancelable normal attack. Drive Reversal performs a counterattack while blocking an opponent’s attack.

This allows for easier inputs where special moves can be performed by combining the “Special Move” button with one directional input. The game also has a new Real-Time Commentary Feature where well-known fight game community commentators and other recognizable faces will incorporate their voices directly into the game. The idea is to add the hype of a competitive match without actually being there.
