Xbox Adds Noise Suppression in its Latest System Update

Microsoft has announced a new system update for the Xbox Series X/S and there is a noise suppression feature being included. The system update is already available and so is the noise suppression feature for the console.

Adding a noise suppression feature to the system will help cancel out any useless noise that players do not need to hear. As a result of this feature, players can be more efficient in their games and focus on what they need to do in order to win.

The system update release notes said, “We’ve added noise suppression to parties on Xbox Series X|S consoles to help remove unwanted noises like gamepad clicks, breathing, and background noise from your parties.” The post continued by stating that in order to remove the feature, players “Just open the guide, scroll to Parties & chats, and select Options. There you can enable or disable noise suppression.”

Microsoft is the most recent company to offer a feature like this. Other companies include Zoom, Nvidia and Discord. Each of these companies relies on communication across the internet where noise suppression is often necessary.

As Xbox looks to continue expanding its community, changes like these will surely help them to keep its already large group of players.

The update also fixed more small changes that players had been dealing with. Xbox is making updates to the controllers, where some players experienced their controllers losing sync with their devices. Similarly, Xbox fixed issues that dealt with disc-based icons and loading into games after using a streaming device. Consistent updates such as this have kept the Xbox as one of the most well-known gaming consoles in the world.

Although the update may seem small for many players, there are some important changes being made by Microsoft for their current and future players.
