Wasteland 3 has reached another major milestone as the creators have recently announced that the game is on the road towards Alpha. Of course, how could one not anticipate that achievement when the game significantly surpassed its goal of $2.75 million dollars in 2016? Wasteland 3 is on a fast track to completion, but to some fans, maybe not fast enough.
InXile Entertainment has progressed amazingly since its first Wasteland game. Many fans surely remember the game back in its retro days when it initially released in 1988, and naturally the graphics and quality of Wasteland were the mere result of the technology available during that era. But the game succeeded in earning a solid fan-base, thus stamping its name in the gaming history books. Since then, the Wasteland games have been significant trail-blazers in the independent gaming industry.
It makes sense that fans are impatient just as they are hyped over the upcoming game. The post-apocalyptic series has redefined RPG gaming and to have done so, InXile is careful in not spitting out game after game. Judging by the major gaps of when each Wasteland game has been and will be released, we can see how much diligent time is put into creating these masterpieces.

Considering how long it took for Wasteland 2 to come out, its release sometime in 2019 shows a great amount of progress for InXile Entertainment. The wait is indeed long, but if Wasteland 3 is anything like its previous creations, the game will undoubtedly deliver what the fans have been waiting for.
