Street Fighter’s Cammy And Guile Coming To Fortnite In August

Epic Game’s Fortnite is adding two new members of the Street Fighter franchise to their game on August 7. Cammy and Guile, the iconic duo, will be available to purchase as skins through the Item Shop at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The Guile outfit showcases the classic green fatigue worn in the original Street Fight II, while also containing a “beach-ready” Glistening Guile variant as well as a “K.O. Backbling.” Meanwhile, Cammy’s outfit will be the classic Delta Red outfit equipped with a bright red beret alongside her variants that our named “Tactical Cammy Variant” and Borealis Backer Back Bling. If the duo sounds like something you are interested in, you can even get the Cammie and Guile Bundle that includes all variants, both backblings, and the Round 2 Loading Screen as an added bonus.

There will also be a gear bundle available for the characters as well. The Cammy and Guile Gear Bundle features Guile’s Knuckle Buster Pickaxe, Cammy’s Delta Red Bowie Blade Pickaxe, and the V-Trigger Vector Glider that is inspired by the original Guile stage, but if purchasing skin and a gear bundle isn’t your thing, Fortnite is creating the Cammy Cup. Players will be allowed to compete in the Cammy Cup on August 5 and the top-performing duo team in each region will receive the Cammy Outfit Borealis Backer Back Bling before it hits the Item Shop. In addition, the duo team that earns at least 8 points during a battle will receive the Round Two Loading Screen. The Cammy Cup will run for three hours in each region and teams will have 10 hours to earn as many points as possible. For more information on how the scoring breakdown will run, visit the Epic Games Store website.

Cammy and Guile are the second Street Fighter duo to make their way to the Epic Games Store. Chun-Li and Ryu were released earlier this year. This new duo, however, comes after Epic Games released a teaser trailer on August 3 that featured a variety of Street Fighter characters on a character-select screen.
