Skydance New Media and Marvel Entertainment Announce Brand New IP Featuring Captain America and Black Panther

The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase at the D23 Expo has come and went where we got to see a fair amount of new and upcoming IPs from the many different universes shared between the two massive companies. One of these was the long-awaited project from Skydance New Media, which is being spearheaded by former Uncharted Creative Director Amy Hennig. The IP appears to be taking two of the biggest names from the Marvel Universe, Captain America and Black Panther, and placing them into a World War II-style setting in Paris and potentially Wakanda.

We also got a teaser trailer for the IP, which as of this writing still does not have an official title. As we already mentioned, this new project will include Captain America and Black Panther, but it will also feature the famous Howling Commandos. We also get a glimpse of Howling Commando Gabriel Jones and Nanali, the leader of the Wakandan Spy Network. Another little tidbit seen in the trailer involves the infamous Hydra logo on a notebook, but it still hasn’t been confirmed if they will be the main foil for the project.

This venture began back in late 2019 when Amy Hennig joined the film production company Skydance Media and formed subdivision within that became known as Skydance New Media. The studio had already announced a partnership with Lucasfilm Games for a Star Wars collaboration, but now they’ve added a Marvel title to the lineup as well. Hopefully, we’ll hear more about this mysterious new IP in the foreseeable future. In the meantime, you can check out everything else that was announced at the first-ever Disney and Marvel game showcase at the D23 Expo.
