Despite not beginning until October 9, festivities for the first ever SAGA BCN Game Fest have already kicked off. Hosted by Spanish publisher Entalto Publishing, the virtual Out of Bounds indie showcase serves as a digital companion to the main, in-person festival held in Barcelona. Although this is the first year of the festival, 2026 marks the second year of Out of Bounds. This year’s stream features sixteen titles including two world premiere trailers, twelve of which will be playable at SAGA BCN for the first time.
Bingone
Up first is the world premiere of A La Fresca Studio’s Bingone. Bingone is a 2D pixelated roulette style game where players are encouraged to “bend, break, and completely abuse the rules to create ridiculous strategies.” Currently, there is no known release date for the “bingo-inspired roguelike,” but it is available to wishlist on Steam, and will be one of the twelve games with a preview play at SAGA BCN.
Precious Nightmare
The second world premiere of Out of Bounds is Precious Nightmare. Described as a narrative driven walking simulator, Precious Nightmare asks players the question “How do you deal with love if, every time you chase it, it ends up hurting you?” HappyBreakBones plans to release this game sometime within the first quarter of 2027 on Steam.
Infamous Keepers
Goblinz Studio brings players a “Tower Defense meets Roguelite” style game where players must “use strategy and some clever trickery to defeat waves of enemies.” In Infamous Keepers, the player’s employer, “the Dungeon Company, has recently gone through massive layoffs, putting their dungeons to the test by closing the portals that connect them.” It is scheduled to release sometime in 2027 on Steam, and will have in person playtests available at SAGA BCN.
Sombras: Negative Frames
Sombras: Negative Frames is the second game from “Maboroshi Artworks, the creators of the award-winning game Last Time I Saw You.” Described as a “first person narrative game with a focus on photography and light horror elements,” players experience the world as photography student Hiomi Alterio as she adjusts to her new life with her father in Japan, until being transported into a paranormal alternate dimension. It will be one of the twelve games showcased in person.
Midgardr
Set to release on January 8, 2027, Holy Radish’s Midgardr is a virtual board game where players take on the role of a “Duke sent to build and protect a village at the edge of the realm.” Players are warned that vvery choice they make will impact the future one way or another, “and the board itself may not be all it seems.” A live playtest demo of Midgardr will be available during the SAGA BCN Game Fest.
Blade and Madness
Blade and Madness is a roguelite deck builder from Crimson Birds Studio. Described as a “dark and moody digital card game with roguelite progression,” players must “face the terrible creatures that inhabit this island” before giving in to insanity. Blade and Madness does not have a definitive release date yet, but will be available on Steam.
Draftula
In Draftula, players must build a castle to be high enough to impress an ancient Count in order to receive his power. Designed as a “block-dropping puzzler,” players stack rooms on top of each other to construct the tallest castle possible, while still maintaining structural stability. Team Draftula warns that some “rooms have certain boons when placed next to other rooms, so learning what rooms play nice together is crucial for success.” Currently, a demo is available on Steam, but there is no confirmed release date for Draftula.
Void Reaver
Banana Blitz’s “Void Reaver is a sci-fi bullet heaven where [the player’s] backpack is [their] firepower.” Players are able to “grid-manage 300+ weapons and artifacts into explosive synergies, unlock specialized skill trees, and blast through alien hordes.” The game features a “high-octane electronic soundtrack.” Void Reaver will be released on November 11, 2026, though a demo is currently available on Steam. Fans are able to dive deeper into gameplay at the SAGA BCN Game Fest.
Fear Tall Grass
Fear Tall Grass is a “dark creature-collecting roguelite where humanity enslaves their old gods” from developer Forgotten Bastions. autobattler creature-collector roguelike where players must “navigate a looping board to capture, tame, and evolve a squad of monstrous allies. Although Fear Tall Grass will not have a live playtest, it will be available in Quarter 1 of 2027 on Steam.
Winter Whiskers
“In this cozy snow-cleaning adventure,” players are given the opportunity to “help bring Winterlight Harbor back to life after a sudden blizzard.” Tasks include “Vacuum[ing] up snow to turn into steam and “power the town, melt[ing] icy paths, help[ing] neighbors, and prepare[ing] for the Winter Festival.” Mango Leaf Games’ Winter Whiskers currently has a free demo up on Steam, and will be featured in the SAGA BCN Game Fest. The game will be fully released by the end of this year.
Fugue Shot
Rare Dialect brings another rogue like to Out of Bounds. Players must face multiple different Omens, “each offering a distinct arcade-inspired minigame experience.” They can “pick between Omens to challenge, and strategize accordingly across intense combat, precision-based reaction tests, physics-driven puzzles, and more – all within one run.” The Fugue Shot demo is currently available on itch.io, and can be wishlisted on Steam.
Haunted Cleaner
In HeadKino Games’ Haunted Cleaner, players take on the role of a “psychic cleaner [tasked with] uncover[ing] the stories left behind [in the homes of the deceased] and help lingering ghosts find peace.” Players are reminded that “every place tells a story, [they] just need to listen.” Haunted Cleaner will be available on Steam in early 2027.
Oniria
In Frog Team’s debut title, players are welcomed to “Oniria, a forgotten village in Spain where dark rural legends from the past intertwine with the present, seeking to take hold of reality.” Playing as Angela, they must “be able to face the demons of [their] childhood and uncover what lies behind Oniria’s shadowy secrets.” This game will be out soon on Steam, and although there is no definitive release date, the demo is currently available to play for Windows users.
Pecado
Solid Neon SD’s “Pecado is a first-person folkloric horror experience set in the España profunda,” which translates to Deep Spain in English, referencing small Spanish towns. Players are given the opportunity to “explore a rural, decaying, and oppressive environment,” uncovering “what lies behind a facade built upon silence and faith.” Pecado will be released in the first Quarter of 2027 on Steam.
Stickerino
The final rogue lite of Out of Bounds, Stickerino is a game where players “collect snacks and Monstraks game-changers, flex [their] style, and crush Sticker Wizard’s challenges.” The main mechanic is sticking stickers onto cards; “the more stickers on a card, the sweeter the numbers.” Contresort’s Stickerino is coming soon on Steam, and the demo is currently available to download.
Wundurtrench
Studio Scarmetal ltd’s Wundurtrench is a “grim tactical roguelike RPG set in a militaristic empire on its last breath.” Players must “lead squads into an otherworldly, living trench to harvest resources and technology, and hold back the horrors waiting below.” Wundurtrench does not have an official release date yet, but the development team promises to update soon.
