We’re less than a month away from Resident Evil Village, and the anticipation is at an all-time high. Despite this, Capcom is not done getting its fan base ready as they announced that there will be another showcase scheduled for next week on Thursday, April 15. The Resident Evil Showcase will be live at 3:00 PM PDT/6:00 PM EDT, and will once again be hosted by Brittney Brombacher from What’s Good Games. The livestream will have some new information about the new entry, as well as a new gameplay trailer.

Resident Evil Village producer Tsuyoshi Kanda and director Morimasa Sato will also make an appearance in the livestream offering up some new information regarding the title. It will be interesting to see what they have to add considering that we’re only a few weeks away from the official launch. On top of that, the Resident Evil Re: Verse open beta test is taking place this weekend. The title is a multiplayer spin-off of the Resident Evil franchise and is free for anyone who purchases Resident Evil Village. That open beta commenced on April 7 and will last through the weekend until April 11.
As we already mentioned, this will be the second Resident Evil Showcase of the year from Capcom. The previous one took place in January, which ended up being very exciting as Capccom unveiled the gameplay for the first time. The most intriguing aspect of this new showcase are the surprises that Capcom may potentially have in store for us. We still haven’t heard any official follow-up on that Resident Evil 4 Remake story, and this would be a perfect opportunity for the company to make an announcement. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long to find out, as the livestream is scheduled to take place next Thursday, April 15. You can watch it on Capcom’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
Resident Evil Village will launch on May 7 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC.
