Rainbow Six Siege Gets a Leak of the Next Operator

It hasn’t been very long since Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege has had an update. The last advancement was when Year 4 brought on two new operators, a new map, updates to some of the characters, and an updated friendly fire which would hurt the shooter instead of the teammate; all of this for one season. But there was one thing that stood out amongst everything, a possible leak from Resetera user Kormora:

This leak was released a couple months ago on Resetera before Gridlock and Mozzie were officially released. And well, it was correct. Whether or not the source was actually a “industry buddy” or not, the leak was still true about everything. So of course, this mean that people went back to the same person when they were thinking about who the next Operator would be.

The response?

Again, whether or not this is true is still up for debate. Though the leak talks about how this Danish Operator has similar aspects to Caviera with the silent steps, another stealth operator. But it does fit in with a tease that Rainbow Six Siege’s devs had managed to sneak in:

This image is from the CGI short that Ubisoft had released, “The Hammer and the Scalpel”, back in the middle of February. Both the image from the trailer short and the tease specified that the new operator for Season 2 of Year 4 would be Danish and would be an expert in stealth and reconnaissance.

But it also brings in another operator that hadn’t been mentioned by Ubisoft in the trailer or anywhere else, and that is the second one mentioned in the recent post. The one that has “special eyesight that bypasses flashes and smoke.” Whether or not this is their actual eyesight or some type of equipment has yet to be stated, but it is something to keep an eye out for, given that the last leak was true.

With all these possible leaks and the teaser from Ubisoft, it’s maybe safe to say that the Danish Operator is going to have some type of stealth suit. The second one? Only time will tell.
