Rainbow Six Siege Free-to-Play for a Whole Week Starting August 28th

Rainbow Six Siege has been around since 2015 and many are astounded on how its popularity continues to rise. With constant updates delivering new maps and Operators, the game stays fresh regardless of its age. For those who have been hesitating to drop their money on the title given the recognition, feel free to hold on to that cash because Rainbow Six Siege will be free to play on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, And PC) on August 28th and continue for a whole week!

Rainbow Six Siege continues to grow with millions of loyal fans which is great news for Ubisoft as they continue their goal to reach 100 Operators. They have even announced they are staying faithful to the current title and do not plan on releasing a sequel anytime soon, giving Siege the green light to possibly be supported on Ps5 and Project Scarlett. Although many are aware of the co-op spin-off title Rainbow Six Quarantine that was revealed at E3 2019, which will reportedly be cooperative campaign-based PvE title, rather than Rainbow Six Siege’s PvP gameplay. As operation Ember Rise approaches for Siege, curious players will be able to play the game for free and see what all the fuss is about.

The free to play week is stated to start on August 28th and will continue for a whole week which includes all consoles that Siege is currently playable on. Along with that good news, players will have access to all the features of the game including all maps, modes, and Operators at their disposal. Another plus, after the free week is over,  Rainbow Six Siege will be available at a discounted price on all platforms.

Many FPS fans have transitioned over to Siege from other popular shooters. It provides a slower more methodical approach to an FPS which requires a tremendous amount of teamwork, communication, and coordination. Even if that doesn’t sound like your style initially, Rainbow Six Siege will be free for a whole week August 28th and it wouldn’t hurt to see why fans and developers have kept loyal to the title.

Nathan Arquiette: Mom and Dad would never buy me a gaming console growing up, so I bought my own Dreamcast when I was 10 years old. Ever since then my passion for gaming went wild. Why watch a movie or read a book when you can take part in the plot playing a game was my philosophy. "Video games rot your brain" but I had a 10th grade reading level in the 6th grade all thanks to RPG's. Talking and writing about games is something I will never get tired of.
