PS VR Game Megalith Opens up Free Beta Tomorrow

Roughly a year ago, game developers Disruptive Games released a trailer of a rather angry looking creature emerging from a cave. It walked out of its dwellings just as the trailer revealed that there were Titans that tried to fight to become a God. The creature attacked, and that was our first look at Disruptive Games’s first title: Megalith. Producer Grant Rogers spoke of how their vision was to create great online games, and then proceeded to spend the past two years working on this.

But he came with more announcements than just talking about their upcoming game Megalith. Roger revealed that the Beta would be available for free on tomorrow, November 13. With it, he decided to show off some of the in-game visuals and play styles of the five Titans that players can control:

However, joining the free beta does have some limitations. Firstly, players will only be able to choose between two of the five Titans that are currently in the game. However, players will still get the chance to play others as there is a weekly rotation between the Titans, so no character will be unplayed. But, Rogers has specified that if players want to pre-order the game before they jump into the beta, they will get more bonuses than those who just jump in.

Those bonuses include being able to unlock all of the current five Titans during the beta instead of having to wait for the rotation to play specific ones, getting five icons for gamers’ PlayStation Account of the first five Titans to show off who they main, and, when the game officially comes out, receiving 5 Epic Skins, one of each Titan in the game, as well as being granted one DLC Titan when they are released. These are some pretty big bonuses for pre-ordering and jumping into the beta.

Each Titan that can be controlled comes with its own set of unique skills and kits that can be found on Roger’s announcement here. So players can choose whether or not they want to go through the weekly rotations, or get their hands first on a specific character that they like better than the others.

Megalith will be open for PS VR for free beta tomorrow, November 13, and can be pre-ordered on the PS Store.
