Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake, Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, & Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Will Not Be At E3 2021

Today, several announcements were made by various publishers and developers regarding which games will be at E3 2021 this year and which games will not be at the virtual show this year. The developers behind Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake revealed that their game will not be part of Ubisoft Forward. Warner Bros. Games also announced that Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Hogwarts Legacy will not be at its event. While these games will not be at E3 2021 this year, several games were confirmed to make an appearance at the event including Back 4 Blood, Rainbow Six Extraction, and the next game from Gearbox Entertainment.

The dev team behind Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake took to Twitter and revealed that the game will be released in 2022. After its reveal last year, the game was delayed from its original release date in January to March and then was delayed indefinitely till what we now know to next year. Ubisoft also announced that Rainbow Six Extraction, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine will be revealed during Ubisoft Forward on Saturday, June 12 at 12 pm PT/ 3 pm ET/8 pm UK/ 9 pm CEST.

Speaking to TechRadar, a Warner Bros Games. spokesperson confirmed that only Back 4 Blood will be shown during its press conference. Upcoming games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will not be making an appearance. All three at set to be released in 2022. Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights were delayed to next year earlier in the year. This was also confirmed by Summer Game Fest responding to a question on Twitter.

Summer Game Fest also revealed that a new adventure from Gearbox Entertainment and 2k will be revealed on Thursday, June 10. Leaks point to the next game being a Borderlands spin-off that may feature or focus on beloved character Tiny Tina. The leaks also revealed that a Marvel-themed XCOM game will also be revealed.

E3 2021 is set to take place from June 12 – 15.
