Square Enix revealed colorful new four-on-four online shooter called FOAMSTARS at the PlayStation Showcase 2023. Players will harness the power of foam to fight their way to victory in the arena. In the reveal trailer colorful characters were shown battling each other with various foam-based weapons. Game-play was shown of players using their foam powers to surf across the arena build terrain, defend from enemy attacks or creating high vantage points to take out opponents and win the match.
FOAMSTARS will release for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. While no release date has been revealed, Square Enix noted that more information will be revealed from FOAMSTARS’ development team in the near future.
