Pathfinder: Wrath of Righteous Launching for Consoles and PC Later This Year

Developer Owlcat Games and publisher Koch Media announced on June 28 that Pathfinder: Wrath of Righteous will be getting an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC version releasing later this year. The game will be one of the first to launch on Koch Media’s new Prime Matter Label, the niche venture, that was first unveiled at E3. Alongside the console and PC version announcement, Owlcat additionally revealed that a new developer diary, on the fortress city of Drezen, a key location to the game, would be coming to the series, giving Pathfinder fans a lot to look forward to.

The console version will be set in the same world as its predecessor Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Gamers will battle demons and supernatural forces in the classic RPG-styled action gameplay that takes place in form of an isometric viewpoint. What’s different about the latest version coming to digital and retail stores by the end of this year is that the latest developer diary will offer a more extensive look into Drezen. With this added bonus, players will gain knowledge on the city, will interact with NPC’s who witnessed the initial siege, and get information on how the loss began 70 years prior. All of this is said to be needed in order to complete the game’s campaign.

The Queen will also be commanding players to take back the fortress, with the starting point of your assault being determined by the choices you make and the advice you choose to follow, so be wise. Drezen will also be following the same path in the console and PC versions. According to the mythical path players choose and the decisions they make throughout the game, that will change how Drezen looks. With this new addition to the game, there will be multiple ways the storyline could be told.
