Nvidia Announces Special GeForce RTX Broadcast Event for Next Week

PC graphics card maker Nvidia is already getting ready to show off their next piece of technology. The company has announced they will host a special GeForce RTX Broadcast Event that is slated for next week on Tuesday, January 4 at 8:00 AM PST/11:00 AM EST. The broadcast will take place concurrently in the same week as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which showcases all of the new and upcoming pieces of technology in near, and far away time frame.

Nvidia states in their tweet that the event will have “exciting news in the world of gaming.” This is not all that surprising considering that amount of graphical hardware that is consistently utilized by gamers in the PC community, but for some reason they explicitly mentioned them in this statement. It’s possible that during this presentation we’ll see some new gameplay from an unannounced IP, or even an existing one. While there will be a focus on the technological aspects for the broadcast, the possibility is there.

Speaking of that focus, on the main page for the event, Nvidia shows that it will pertain to three main subjects. First will be the RTX 30 graphic cards series, which is the current flagship line of graphic cards on the market. The second one will be about RTX 30 laptops, as more and more of them are becoming integrated into gaming laptops. Lastly, Nvidia will go into their Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) which is Nvidia’s exclusive tech that allows most PC’s to upscale, and downscale, the setting of whichever game it’s playing. Keep in mind that DLSS is only used by newer titles, as it’s generally accompanied by the ever popular ray tracing feature.

Either way you want to extrapolate it, Nvidia is getting us prepared for their newest innovations, as well as their newest pieces of technology. Let’s just hope that we’ll be able to actually get our hands on it this time.
