New Spooky Strategy RPG Mistover Releasing October

Summer is still here but Fall is on the way and that means Halloween is just around the corner. Gamers are usually treated to a fair amount of new spooky releases or great sales on horror franchises and it looks like some we can already look forward to. Mistover is a new strategy RPG game created by the developers of PUBG and TERA, Krafton Game Union. Just by that info, it’s apparent that Mistover is surely in a different realm than their usual games but the choice-driven dungeon exploration is looking to be spooky fun for gamers who enjoy a classic RPG experience all available October 10th.

In Mistover, the Vortex Pillar of despair has appeared and brought forth ghoulish creatures leaving mankind on the edge of extinction. When all hope was lost, by some miracle, the beings vanished saving humanity. Although, the threat was not fully gone, which in term caused the creation of the ‘Corps’, a group that journeys into the Vortex from where the creatures emerged to keep them at bay. The story is told with an interesting art style that blends Western and gothic all in one. In addition, the characters bring a dash of anime influence to the game as well.

Along with the creative visuals and story, Mistover brings back traditional turn-based combat with some twist. Strategic thinking will play a great role in your combat decisions. Players Corps crew members will be able to perform coordinated attacks depending on criteria met using specific formations. Each member of your party will fill RPG traditional roles, like Healers, Tanks, Ranged and so forth. Members will also have unique personalities and backstories as well.

Mistover is sure to bring some eerie and spooky strategic fun for the avid RPG lover. Be sure to keep an eye out for this one when it is released on October 10th for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC priced at $29.99.

Nathan Arquiette: Mom and Dad would never buy me a gaming console growing up, so I bought my own Dreamcast when I was 10 years old. Ever since then my passion for gaming went wild. Why watch a movie or read a book when you can take part in the plot playing a game was my philosophy. "Video games rot your brain" but I had a 10th grade reading level in the 6th grade all thanks to RPG's. Talking and writing about games is something I will never get tired of.
