New Pre-Alpha Gameplay Footage of Act of Aggression Revealed

If you needed more proof that French developer Eugen Systems are one of the new flag bearers for the classic RTS game , their recently revealed pre-alpha footage of Act of Aggression should do the job.

Act of Aggression is the follow up game to Act of War, a 2005 RTS game that featured modern warfare alongside a technothriller plot penned by former US Air Force captain Dale Brown.

The below pre-alpha footage for AoA shows off the game’s impressive visuals and three different factions: The US Military, the Brotherhood of Nod-like Cartel, and the UN-funded Chimera. As the narrator explains in the trailer, Eugen have retained the visceral, intimate action of classic RTS while expanding on it with a larger sense of scale, similar to their Wargame series.

Act of Aggression will be out in the Spring of this year, and prior to that, a VIP multiplayer beta will be made available.
