New Doom DLC Available For Purchase

Doom’s second paid expansion, Hell Followed by id Software is now available for purchase. It is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Hell Followed is a multiplayer expansion which gives you three new maps called Argent Breach, Molten and Orbital as well as a new demon named Cacodemon. Players get a new weapon and new equipment. The weapon is a new Reaper weapon and the equipment is called Threat Pulse. There are also new armor sets, patterns, colors and taunts as well as new hack modules. Below is the Hell Followed launch trailer, which shows you all of the new content in action.

The trailer starts with the map Orbital, which appears to be in an outer space-like battlefield. Next, you are on the map Argent Breach which looks like Hogwarts castle, except the multiple stories are on the outside with the castle itself in far distance. Molten looks like is in the inside of a volcano, with lava surrounding the battlefield.

The Reaper weapon looks like a gun with a claws. Threat Pulse allows you to see all of the other players you are playing against, showing you the heat that a heat seeking missile would go toward.

Cacodemon looks it’s just a floating ball of flesh. A green light illuminates from what looks like its eye with a first-person view coming from the inside of Cacodemon’s mouth.

The cyberdemonic armor is just like the title says. It makes you look like you’re a demon with cyber-like armor. The cyberdemonic armor is shown in silver, blue, orange and a neon green. The new taunt is the Dab, a dance made famous the Carolina Panthers’s quarterback Cam Newton during the team’s 15-1 record, ending with a Super Bowl loss to the Denver Broncos.

You can buy Hell Followed for $15, which is the same price as the first paid expansion, Unto The Evil.  All three of the add-ons are available with the season pass, which is $40.

To celebrate the release of Hell Followed, id Software is a double XP weekend. Starting October 18 at noon ET and ending October 21, also at noon ET, you will receive double the XP you would normally receive during the game.

No matter how bad the team is, I will always rep them.
