Today, PlayStation and Naughty Dog released a new trailer and shared more details about Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection. The bundle offers remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, the last two games released for the franchise. The games will feature three graphics modes that players can choose from and comes with all of the bells and whistles that players expect from the PlayStation 5. Owners of the games on PS4 can upgrade to the PS5 version for $10. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available on PlayStation 5 on January 28, 2022. More details regarding the PC version including the release date will be revealed at a later time.
The three graphics modes that players can choose from are Fidelity Mode, Performance Mode, and Performance+ Mode. Fidelity Mode is for those who want super-sharp resolution above all else to enjoy the stunning environments and details the Uncharted series is known for. Fidelity Mode plays in native 4K resolution at 30 FPS. Performance Mode targets a 60 FPS frame rate. Performance+ Mode is for those who want the smoothest gameplay possible and don’t mind a dip in resolution. Performance+ Mode targets 120 FPS for those who have a compatible display at 1080p resolution. With the power of the PS5, load times are near-instant so players can jump into the action faster. Spatial 3D Audio allows players to know where shots are coming from and will immerse players in the ambience of the locations. With the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, players will be able to feel the 4×4 vehicles roll along their hands or landing a punch and then rope swinging away.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available physically and digitally for the PS5 and costs $49.99/€49.99. If players have purchased either Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle can upgrade to the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves digital version for $10. The upgrade will be available starting on January 28, 2022. If players own the PS4 disc versions, they have to insert them into the PS5 every time they want to download or play the PS5 digital versions. PS4 game disc owners who buy the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition disc-free console will not be able to get the PS5 version for the discounted price. Furthermore, PlayStation Plus members who claimed Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End via their PS Plus subscription are not eligible for the PS5 upgrade.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will only feature the single-player component of the games. The multiplayer mode included for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will not be a part of the collection.
Players in select countries who purchase or upgrade to the PS5 via the PlayStation Store will receive a voucher code for one standard ticket for the upcoming Uncharted movie in participating theaters starting from February 2022. This opportunity lasts between now and February 3, 2022. Players must be a resident of Australia, New Zealand, the UK, or the US. Age restictions apply. Full terms can be viewed here.
