Interactive Survival Horror Game Until Dawn Being Turned Into A Movie

It has been announced that the interactive survival horror game Until Dawn will be turned into a movie.  Screenwriter Gary Dauberman who has done movies like Annabelle and the Nun will be taking on the game Until Dawn as a movie according to the Hollywoodreporter. Last year he signed a deal with Sony and Screen Gems to bring horror movies to the screen.

Until Dawn is an interactive survival horror game that was released on PS4 in 2015. It was developed by Supermassive Games and Published by Sony. In the game, actors Rami Malek voiced Joshua and Hayden Panettiere voiced Samantha. Until Dawn is a game where players will get the chance to play eight different characters and every choice you make in the game has an effect.”Every decision you make in your terrifying search for answers could mean the difference between life and death”.  You can buy Until Dawn on the PlayStation website for about $20 dollars.

According to the Hollywoodreporter Dauberman will not be the only one working on Until Dawn movie. Other people involved in bringing this game to the screen are

David Sandberg and Lotta Losten via their Mangata shingle, as well as Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan.

And this isn’t the only game that PlayStation Production has turned into movie or TV show. The game Last Of Us was turned into a TV show that you can watch on HBO which stars actors such as Pedro Paschal, Belle Ramsey, Storm Reid, and Nick Offerman. Twisted Metal is another game that was turned into a TV show starring actors like Anthony Mackie, Neve Campbell, Stephanie Beatriz, and Will Arnett. Screen Gems said that the Until Dawn film will be “an R-rated love letter to the horror genre”.

As for when this movie will be coming to the screens, it’s currently unknown. So players if you are interested in watching this movie keep your eyes peeled. If you like horror movies then get ready viewers because this game is coming to the big screen.
