Infinity Nikki Tops 30 Million Pre-Registrations

Infinity Nikki, developed by Papergames under its international brand, Infold Games, will be the latest installment in the popular Nikki mobile game series. These games have historically focused on dress-up elements and storytelling, but Infinity Nikki promises much more in the ways of complex gameplay. The game will provide players with an expansive world full of puzzles and quests, along with the expected customization of Nikki’s avatar. The prospect of an immersive environment seems promising, with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild designer, Kentaro Tominaga, directing the project, and Unreal Engine powering its stylized graphics.

A new Infinity Nikki gameplay trailer, released on November 9, showcases many of the colorful location’s players will be able explore upon the game’s release. This includes a peaceful flower-filled field called the Breezy Meadow, a land full of jagged cliffs and canyons called the Stonewoods, and more areas. Players will control Nikki as she adventures alongside Momo, her feline companion, in a new magical world. The game features a complex combat system centering around the outfits that Nikki collects, combining dress-up elements with an open world RPG.

Infinity Nikki recently reached a major milestone, surpassing 3o million global pre-registrations. The accomplishment was addressed via the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on November 9 with an illustrative graphic featuring Nikki and Momo. The post thanks fans of the game for all of their “continued love and support,” and declares that “all global pre-registration milestone rewards have now been unlocked.” Players, who are referred to as “Stylists” receive 50,000 Bling, 300 Threads of Purity, 20 Resonite Crystals, and a four-star outfit upon the game’s release. Links to the game’s official Discord server and pre-registration are listed beneath the announcement.

Although a specific launch date has not yet been announced for Infinity Nikki, its App Store description currently lists the game as releasing on December 31, and Infold Games has confirmed Q4 2024 release. The game is free-to-play with in-app purchases and will be available on both iOS and Android following its launch, along with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

While many video games are available only to those who can afford expensive consoles and computers, mobile games are designed for the average person.
