Hearthstone’s Next Event Rise Of The Mech Will Include Card Buffs & More

Today, Blizzard has announced new event for Hearthstone after releasing Rise of Shadows earlier this year. The event is called Rise of the Mech and it will include a brand new Legendary Mech, buffs to cards from every class, new Arena draft rotation and a Mech-vitational event spanning over several days. Rise of the Mech starts on June 3.

The new neutral Legendary Mech SN1P-SN4P can be obtained in two ways. If you log in between June 3 and July 1, you’ll get a golden copy of the card. After July 1, a regular version can be crafted for 1600 dust.

The card buffs for every class will be permanent and the cards getting buffed will keep their updated stats after The Boomsday Project rotates out of Standard next year. A buff is any improvement or effectivness or desirability made to an existing element. Here are the changes to the cards in every class:

Druid

  • Gloop Sprayer to (7) Mana. (Down from 8)
  • Mulchmuncher to (9) Mana. (Down from 10)

Hunter

  • Necromechanic to (4) Mana. (Down from 5)
  • Flark’s Boom-Zooka to (7) Mana. (Down from 8)

Mage

  • Unexpected Results to (3) Mana. (Down from 4)
  • Luna’s Pocket Galaxy to (5) Mana. (Down from 7)

Paladin

  • Crystology to (1) Mana. (Down from 2)
  • Glowstone Technician to (5) Mana. (Down from 6)

Priest

  • Extra Arms to (2) Mana. (Down from 3)
  • Cloning Device to (1) Mana. (Down from 2)

Rogue

  • Pogo-Hopper to (1) Mana. (Down from 2)
  • Violet Haze to (2) Mana. (Down from 3)

Shaman

  • The Storm Bringer to (6) Mana. (Down from 7)
  • Thunderhead to 3/6/ (Up from 3/5)

Warlock

  • Spirit Bomb to (1) Mana. (Down from 2)
  • Dr. Morrigan to (6) Mana. (Down from 8)

Warrior

  • Security Rover to 2/6 stats. (Up from 2/5)
  • Beryllium Nullifier to 4/8 stats. (Up from 3/8)

Starting on June 3, the available cards in Arena drafts will be rotating to the following sets; Classic, Basic, Goblins vs. Gnomes, The Grand Tournament, Karazhan, The Boomsday Project, Rise of Shadows.

Anyone interested in seeing these cards in action can tune on June 3-4 to the Mech-vitational event. It will include competitors from North America playing live on set against teams around the world. More information about the event can be found here.
