Guerrilla Collective Day 1 Recap and Highlights: New Looks At Baldur’s Gate 3, System Shock & More

Guerrilla Collective, digital game festival hosted by Greg Miller (of Kinda Funny Games), set to span over the course of three days and showcase all that is coming in the future for gaming across all platforms. As the excitement for those soon to be revealed continues, The Day 1 showcase grabbed the attention with their upcoming games, and below listed are the ones that generated the most buzz on social media platforms.

A Juggler’s Tale follows the protagonist (Abby) as she is held captive at a circus and eventually finds her escape. As the player, you are tasked to help Abby escape and find her freedom by navigating through the landscape and different obstacles (similar to the game Limbo). This game will be avalible on Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

As the player starts their quest to kill gods and goddesses, they must also encounter monsters along the way as well. This action-RPG style game can be played either solo or with a group of people (4 being the maximum) and will be available on Windows, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

This game is set to be a dungeon exploration with the help of weapons that can transform into potential boyfriends for the player. Boyfriend Dungeon will be available on Windows and Nintendo Switch.

There is no summary for this game currently as development had been stunted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Early access for this game, however, will most likely be available in August of 2020.

Players are set to card battle against the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse in a procedurally generated collectible card game mixed with action RPG elements.

Colt Canyon is a pixel shooter-style game as players work their way through a canyon in an attempt to find lost treasure. This game will be available on Windows, Mac, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

This detective-style story spans over the time of thirty hours of gameplay as you work to uncover the mystery of a dead body found in the local park. As the main character works against their recently acquired amnesia, players will also get to decide what kind of detective they want their character to be with the dialogue and actions they control. This game is available on Windows and Mac.

This turn-based tactic game follows the style of Super Hot with the added tone of being in an old school action movie. So far this game is only announced for Windows.

This adventure game is set to take place before, after, and during the events of the Big Bang. Players will be tasked to explore the birth of mankind all throughout time and eventually have to find a way to destroy “creation” itself and bring a stop to it all. There are no confirmed platforms for Genisis Noir yet.

The sequel to GONNER, this game sees the return of Ikk as he has been tasked by Death to help find and eliminate a dangerous presence that has taken over her domain. This game will be available on Windows, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Linux.

The full list of games along with information surrounding them can be found on their website (by scrolling down underneath the video replaying what was shown). Most of the games revealed have no set release date (most likely due to complications due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the strain that was placed on developers).  There are two more days to this festival to stick around for, so be sure to watch it on their website at 6 PM Central for Europe and 9 AM Pacific for those in the States.
