Godstrike Now Available On Steam And Switch

Today developer Overpowered Team and publisher Freedom Games have released their new game Godstrike. The game is available on both PC through Steam and the Nintendo Switch. Godstrike is a bullet hell twin-stick shooter with a unique mechanic where time is both the player’s health and currency.

In Godstrike you play as the bearer of Talaal, the last of God’s seven masks, as you fight against its siblings looking to absorb the power of the mask. Players will need to defeat each boss within a set time limit, but it is not as simple as just being fast, as taking damage and using abilities will also use up a portion of time. Players will be able to customize their load-outs with over forty different abilities gained from defeating each boss. Trying out abilities and discovering different synergies between them is a major key to success in Godstrike. The game features a few different modes to keep gameplay fresh. Besides the standard campaign mode, there is also an arcade mode where all abilities are already unlocked and players can try and compete for high scores, a challenge mode with rogue-lite mechanics where the boss order is randomized and the player receives new blessings after each fight, and daily challenge runs with different modifiers. Godstrike also features Twitch chat support, where viewers are able to impact gameplay by voting on things such as status effects.

Godstrike is now available on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game is currently available for $14.99, however, those who purchase the game before April 22 will receive a 20% discount. The game currently includes full gamepad functionality and supports ten different languages.
