Get Three Free SEGA games on Steam Right Now

Are you a cheapskate, a fan of classic SEGA games, or both?  Well the good news is that SEGA is giving away Jet Set Radio, Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and Golden Axe on Steam for free.  It’s all part of SEGA’s Make War Not Love 3 Bundle, $35 dollar value that they are giving away for nothing.  It should be noted that you get all the DLC for Hell Yeah!, so you are getting more than a full game for free.  Along with the free games, SEGA is also having a big sale on its many RTS series on steam as well.  I know that Steam is a great place to impulse buy games, so SEGA is cutting out the middle man and just giving them away.

The games you get in this bundle are definitely worth a play.  Jet Set Radio uses cell shading to bring out it’s unique art style and catchy soundtrack.  I’ll admit, after playing it for a bit it is a little clunky (especially compared to it’s awesome sequel Jet Set Radio Future), but the art style alone gives the game a huge amount of charm.  For those who haven’t gotten a chance to play Golden Axe on the 9 different consoles its been released on, now is your chance to experience the classic fantasy beat-em-up.  The game has a simple charm, and beating up on elves is still fun 27 years later.  Hell Yeah! is a fast paced side scrolling shooter with a very appealing 2D art style.  The game is full of gratuitous cartoon violence like Super Meat Boy and is a swell gift from the fine people at SEGA.

Looks like SEGA is re-releasing a lot of their classic games recently, which is fine by me.  More people should experience that classic SEGA charm that these games have.
