There is nothing quite like taking a walk in a snowstorm and hearing a massive creature growl in the distance. It can be suspenseful till that moment when the gamer runs into a Yeti and it smashes their face in. Well this is what you can expect from Far Cry 4 and its new Valley of the Yetis campaign. This whole new campaign for Far Cry is out today and is included in the season pass, which will run you about $30. You can also can buy it alone at $14.99. If being stranded, surrounded by snow, and getting attacked by Yetis sounds like fun, well than this is the expansion for you.
Valley of the Yetis starts out with you being in a crash landing in the Himalayan Mountains (go figure), after this, the player sets out to capture a camp to survive. This camp may or may not have belonged to a mysterious cult, which will try and take back what was theirs. The cult members are the least of your problems, as those big white creatures known as Yetis are out to destroy everything in their path (which includes you), so make sure to keep an eye out for them, which shouldn’t be too hard considering they are giants. Hey, the good news is at the end of the campaign, you discover the mystery behind the Yetis.
Keep in mind if those Yetis prove too much for you, you can call upon one of your awesome friends to do coop play with you and defeat them together in this expansion. The season pass mentioned above includes other expansions as well, such as The Syringe, Escape from Durgesh Prison, Hurk Deluxe Pack, and Overrun.
