Donkey Kong Country is Coming to Nintendo Switch Online

When it comes to Nintendo and their iconic games throughout the years and that so many fans have fallen in love with them. So in recent news, Nintendo will be adding Super Nintendo Entertainment System games with classics like Donkey Kong Country to its Nintendo Switch Online program. Donkey Kong Country was originally released in 1994 which is over two decades old now.

On the official Nintendo website, they discussed more of the game in detail. “On July 15, Donkey Kong, the unstoppable king of swing, returns to the Nintendo Switch system with his touchstone adventure, the classic Super NES game Donkey Kong Country. With a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you’ll be able to join Donkey Kong, his pal Diddy Kong and their trusty animal friends as they explore jungles, climb snowcapped mountains, and ride rollicking minecarts to hunt down their missing bananas from a cruel gang of Kremlings.”

They continued to say that “Donkey Kong Country is armed with chest-pounding muscle, mighty barrel rolls and awesome vine-swinging skills, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong set out to face their adversaries, K. Rool and his reptilian crew of Kremlings. Play solo, compete with a friend or play cooperatively in over 200 levels filled with collectible and hidden bonus levels.”

With the re-released Donkey Kong Country game coming out, the hard-hitting wrestling game Natsume Championship Wrestling will also be joining the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online library for the Nintendo Switch system. Within this system, Nintendo Switch Online collection will also be adding a new NES game this month as well which is the isometric action-RPG, The Immortal.

With these new additions, fans will be excited about their favorite childhood game is coming back and better than ever. The Nintendo Switch Online service is now offering access to 85 classic games that fans can all enjoy with no extra cost. Donkey Kong Country, Natsume Championship Wrestling, and The Immortal coming to Nintendo Switch Online on July 15.
