Capcom Reveals New Content For Capcom Arcade Stadium, and Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection Releases On PS4, Xbox One, And Steam June 1

Today Capcom has revealed that new titles and features will be coming to Capcom Arcade Stadium in the future. The collection currently has three different packs of ten classic Capcom arcade games. While specifics have not yet been given, the game will expand to include more classic titles and more details regarding which titles and when they will release are planned to be announced at a later date. Currently, each game pack is available for $14.99 individually, or $39.99 for all three packs together.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is also planned for a release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on May 25. The game has up till this point has been available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, but soon other gamers will be able to experience the classic arcade experience. With this launch onto other platforms, Capcom will also be adding some minor new downloadable content. Included in this new content is an invincibility mode that allows players to take as much damage as they like across any of the games in the collection. This new feature should hopefully give less experienced or hardcore players a helping hand so they can experience everything each title has to offer without the constant fear of dying and starting over. Capcom is also adding Display Frames Set 1, which gives players thirty-two title-specific frames they can use to customize their virtual arcade cabinets. Each DLC will be available across all platforms and will be available separately for $0.99 each. Those who preorder Capcom Arcade Stadium for Xbox One and Steam before June 8, will receive Display Frames Set 1 for free.

Capcom has also announced that Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection will also be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on June 1. Like Capcom Arcade Stadium, this game was previously only available on the Nintendo Switch. For those unaware, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is a reboot of the brutally hard Capcom classic that features a variety of new features such as new difficulty modes, and two-player local co-op. Players are currently able to preorder the game for any of the new platforms. Those who are unable to wait until release day will be able to experience the game through early access twenty-four hours before the final launch.
