Capcom Reveals Cammy, Zangief and Lily as Street Fighter 6’s Final Fighters Of Launch Roster

Cammy, Zangief and Lily are coming their way to Street Fighter 6! The three will make up the final fighters of the game’s launch roster, and were given their official unveiling during Sony’s State of Play this Thursday.

As Street Fighter 6‘s starting roster leaked back in June 2022, this reveal trailer comes as more of a confirmation than a true surprise announcement. Still, fans can be excited by the return of two of the Street Fighter franchises’ most iconic characters, as well as the addition of another brand new combatant. Cammy, Zangief and Lily will join an 18 character launch roster, which will be highlighted by eight of the original World Warriors: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Zangief, E. Honda, Blanka, and Dhalsim. The roster will also include four of the franchise’s fan favorites with Cammy, Juri, Dee Jay and Luke, and six new inclusions of Lily, Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Marisa and JP.

Zangief, who made his debut in Street Fighter 2, appears to still use old moves like the Screw Piledriver and Siberian Express, but has also picked up some new tricks like Tundra Storm, a counter throw. The brand new inclusion Lily, a high-flying and fast-footed descendent of the Thunderfoot tribe, is armed with moves that emphasize her connection to nature like the Condor Dive, Tomahawk Buster and her Level 3 Super Art, Raging Typhoon.

Cammy is the subject of several exciting visual changes, such as a new jacket and hairstyle. She returns with familiar moves like Spiral Arrow, Cannon Spike, and Hooligan Combination, along with a new Super Art that seems to reference a scene from the 1994 Street Fighter 2 animated film:

Street Fighter 6 arrives on June 6, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.
