BioWare Puts Custom Cover Art Creator For Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Previous Deluxe Content Up For Free

We’re only a little more than a week away from one of the most anticipated remasters in recent memory. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is slated to launch next week on May 14 and will include the three classic titles from the original trilogy (Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3). Leading up to the release, BioWare has just released pretty awesome new tool for fans to mess around with, the actual cover box art. Right now fans can head over to a special site here and customize the cover box art with different characters and a a variety of elements, and download some one-time exclusive digital content from previous entries for free.

The cover box art is a nifty little feature for fans, giving them the ability to move around specific character such as Garrus Vakarian and Miranda Lawson on the art. Fans can also move whichever character they want into the main center piece, which is usually reserved for main protagonist Commander Shepard. Once you’ve finished, you can then download it as a nice background wallpaper, or as a full print out for the physical copy of the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. You can also share the piece via Social Share across your social platform of choice.

As if this wasn’t enough, the studio has also made the content from the Deluxe Editions of Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 available to download for the sweet price of $0. This content is all digital and includes the comic tie-ins, art books, and a lithograph of the Normandy. However, perhaps the sweetest piece of content is the complete soundtrack from the entire trilogy which consists of 88 songs, yes we said 88. They’ve also included a brand new never heard before song called “Resynthesis.”

Unfortunately these downloads are only available until the “download capacity” is reached or late May. For those who want to binge on some amazing Mass Effect content, this is a no-brainer as the 88 songs alone are worth putting onto your hard drive. Mass Effect Legendary Edition launches next week for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC.
