Bane Arrives in Episode 2 Trailer for Batman: The Enemy Within

A new trailer has dropped for episode two of Telltale’s Batman: The Enemy Within, building hype for its rapidly approaching retail release next week on October 3rd.  The trailer shows a little more of the trouble Bruce Wayne will be getting into in this next chapter of his story, and teases the addition of a fan-favorite Batman villain to the series: Bane.

Episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within, titled “The Pact”, will pick up where episode one left off.  A villain lies dead, assassinated by a mysterious figure, and Gotham is being rocked by explosions.  The opposing lawful forces of Commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller continue to clash, as do the conflicting actions of our protagonist’s escapades as Bruce Wayne the billionaire, and as Batman the caped crusader.

In this trailer, we get a closer look at the highly-anticipated arrival of Harley Quinn to the series and what kind of havoc she will be wreaking with her trademark mallet, the weapon of choice for sexy clowns everywhere.  We also see the ever-growing influence that Joker-in-training John Doe has on the actions that Bruce Wayne is forced take, as Bruce meets some of John’s “friends” and is pushed further and further down a dark criminal road from which he may be unable to return.

And lastly in the trailer, the moment that everyone is talking about: the arrival of Bane.  While his identity is not necessarily confirmed in the trailer, there’s no one else in the Batman universe that could have that voice, that outfit, and that kind of ridiculous punching power to send another man flying through the air.  We do not yet know exactly where and how Bane will fit into the ongoing mess in Gotham, but whatever his game, Bane’s arrival can’t be good for the Batman.

Episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, as well as Android and iOS devices, starting October 3rd.
