Bandai Namco’s New Gundam Breaker Is Coming To America

Game developer and publisher Bandai Namco has announced that the newest entry within their Gundam Breaker series, New Gundam Breaker will officially be releasing within the United States sometime this year. The series developer Crafts and Meister are going to be in charge of this new entry within the series, which is the first game to make its way to North America.

The first game started with Gundam Breaker, which was released back in 2013 for the PlayStation 3. The only other release to come close to an English version was Gundam Breaker 3 which was released in Asia with English subtitles. The Gundam Breaker series allows players to build and customize digital Gunpla, which could then be used in various battles.

Players can then gather parts and other gear from the Gunpla that they face to further customize their Gundams to their hearts content. According to Bandai Namco, players will be able to edit their Gunpla during battle due to the “new real-time weapon and armor swapping.” This means that players will be able to upgrade right on the battlefield as soon as they steal parts from their opponents.

There will even be battles where players will experience a considerable difference in scale between them and the enemy Gundam. However, it seems these battles are tailored so that players will be able to enjoy these giant enemies as well as the interesting battlefields that they will be fighting in. The game will also include three-on-three team co-op matches as well as a single player story mode.
