AWAY: The Survival Series Has Confirmed A Release For The PS4

Breaking Walls posted a recent update regarding one of their development projects. The team announced that AWAY: The Survival Series will officially launch on the PlayStation 4 as well as on PC. Yesterday, both the studio and PlayStation released the newest trailer, and the visuals are breathtaking.

AWAY: The Survival Series is a 3rd person adventure game in which the player will experience the exciting, and sometimes dangerous, life of a sugar glider living in the wild. Taking place in a distant future, natural disasters threaten the lives of every species on Earth, and you will need to find safety from the impending storms and wildfires. Explore the forest, the swamps, and caverns as an adorable marsupial near the bottom of the food chain. But do not underestimate the sugar glider. These small creatures are excellent climbers and agile jumpers. And when escape is not an option, they can put up a fight.

While trying to stay alive from those who want to eat you, players will explore beautiful landscapes and environments filled with a variety of animals, big and small. These creatures lead their own lives. Players will have the option of interacting with them throughout their journey. How you interact towards each situation is entirely up to you. Just be sure you do not take on something you cannot handle.

AWAY: The Survival Series does not have a release date as of right now. However, as the project has been in development for the past three years, we can only hope that the team is close to revealing an estimate soon. The game is expected to be playable on PC, and will now also launch for the PlayStation 4.

If you wish to follow the game’s progress, you can stay up to date by visiting the game’s official website and social media pages, such as Twitter and YouTube.

I love storytelling more than any subject, and would probably watch, read, or play anything given to me just to know how it ends.
